d.o.c.a RIOJA
Is the most famous and ancient wine region in Spain and the first to obtain the distinction ofQualified. It stands out for its quality wines with an exceptional aging capacity.
It is located in northern Spain, next to the Ebro River. Elegance and balance are the hallmarks of these wines. The different types of soil of La Rioja together with the use of modern and traditional practices, allow winemakers to produce a wide range of wine with different personalities but always in compliance with the legislation set by D.O.Ca.
Rioja wines are traditionally made with seven grape varieties: Tempranillo, Grenache, Mazuelo and Graciano for reds; and Viura, Garnacha Blanca and Malvasía for white wines.
In Pagos del Rey we look for excellence with the native varieties using Tempranillo, Grenache and Viura to produce our wines.
